Doris was a gracious person in the very best sense of the word. She sends that grace forward every day through you, her children, who were obviously the center of her life but not the whole of it. What a great lady. Love, Julie

To Rose, Jerry and Jim-- It was a pleasure to get to know all you and especially your mother Doris during her stay at Hallmar of Mercy Medical Center where my parents also reside. How could anyone forget the way Doris would announce herself when she wanted to be heard, "This is Doris Kodet speaking".... Even though I only knew Doris during the final months of her life, I could tell that she must have been an extraordinary person and caring mother for the way her children rallied around her during times of wellness and illness. Doris's daughter, Rose, and I share a special bond for we both made daily visits to the care center. On behalf of the Gilbert family, our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear mother, Doris.
