My own children know my stories about Mrs. Tapper. I had her for third grade at Alburnett (I believe 1977-78). She was my favorite teacher. I fondly remember calling her "Grandma" and attending the class trip to her cabin. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Mrs. Tapper had to be one of the best teachers at Alburnett! I remember going to the cabin at the end of my 3rd grade school year and getting to spend the night and playing Rack-O, swimming, boating, etc. Even at such a young age, she was an inspiration to all. My deepest sympathies to all of her family! May your memories keep her close to your heart!
